CYBER BANDITS NFT PROJECT
The Cyber Bandits project is a collection of 5000 one-of-a-kind NFT characters. Its main goal is to combine Michael Reeder's physical painting style with the generative PFP metaverse. Throughout his career, Reeder has incorporated interchangeability in his paintings by reusing imagery across different works. Many of his characters share a common figure shape that serves as a central structure for various components to exist. Similar to a generative project, each painted figure maintains a sense of familiarity while also being fresh, new, and distinct. By incorporating clippings from real physical paintings and digitally rendered elements, Reeder has created a collection of imagery that can be processed through a generator to create the unique Cyber Bandits characters.
